Lučenecká smaltovňa dlhé roky chátrala. Jej príbeh bol dlho opomínaný. Budova vysokej stavebnej kvality a s bohatou históriou je v pomerne tesnej väzbe na centrum mesta, no predsa bola akosi vzdialená a zabudnutá. Nový majiteľ k sebe zavolal architektov a začal sa proces jej obnovy. Vzniklo otvorené a moderné pracovné prostredie, ktoré s pokorou a zachovaním stavebnej podstaty objektu, vkladá nové a pritom potvrdzuje pôvodnú kvalitu budovy a jej šarm. Areál Smaltovne sa otvára mestu a jej príbeh pokračuje ďalej.

The Lučenec enamel factory stood dilapidated for many years with the building’s story long overlooked. The architecturally rich and historically significant building is relatively close to the city center, but it was nevertheless somewhat distant and forgotten. The new owner commissioned architects to start the process of its restoration. An open plan modern work environment was created which preserves the building’s essence with humility and trueness to the original structure while inserting new elements that enhance its qualities and charm. The complex of the former enamel factory is opening up towards the city and its story continues to evolve.
